Kyle Kamerlander, CPA, CVA, CEPA

Partner, Aldrich CPAs + Advisors LLP 

 

Prior to joining Aldrich in San Diego in 2007, Kyle worked for KPMG LLP serving large public and private companies out of Chicago. Upon joining the firm, Kyle focused on taxes, financials and consulting for our privately-held business clients.  Kyle has advised on over a dozen different exit/transition plans for his clients in recent years and has developed a passion for creating unique transition plans that meet both the buyers’ and sellers’ needs and goals. Kyle became a partner at Aldrich in 2013, served as a Practice Leader at Aldrich from 2016-2021 and now serves on Aldrich’s Board of Partners. Over the years, Kyle has presented numerous times for various associations in San Diego.

Kyle graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Economics and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master’s in Accounting. Kyle is a licensed CPA, a Certified Valuation Analyst and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor.

Matthew A. Schlau

Matthew is a partner at Schlau Rogers LLP, a boutique California business law and estate planning law firm. In addition to business and estate planning, Matthew has an extensive background in civil litigation, which includes counseling private companies in hundreds of matters in all stages of litigation.

Matthew's background also includes advising companies in private equity and debt arrangements and serving as outside general counsel to review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other documents relating to a wide range of exceptional and ordinary-course business transactions. He began his own practice so that he could permanently shift his focus from conflicts to building value. He now helps clients design, create, and grow by proactively addressing personal and business matters. 

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School.

Jennifer is a California Licensed Business Broker with M & A Business Advisors, the Leader in Business Sales & Acquisitions. Jennifer has earned the designation of Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) from the Exit Planning Institute (EPI). Jennifer has also been a successful business owner with over 20 years of ownership and experience in the Health Care and Senior Care Industry having owned and operated Home Care agencies in both California and Colorado. 

 

Jennifer is a seasoned Exit Planning Advisor and Business Broker specializing in the confidential sale of privately owned businesses on the buy-side and sell-side of healthcare business transactions including but not limited to Home Health, Hospice, Private Duty, Behavioral Health, I/DD, DME, Medical Staffing, Long Term Care Communities, Urgent Care, Fitness Studios, Dermatology, Chiropractic and all types of Pharmacy throughout Southern California. Jennifer does this with Dedication, Communication, Determination & Trust while embodying the ability to cater and adapt to all of her client’s needs.

Aaron Puttroff CExP™, CFP®, CEO

Aaron Puttroff understands from personal experience what it’s like to live with the effects of poor financial decisions. Growing up, his father was unexpectedly injured while working in the railroad industry, which forced him into early retirement. With no pension and little saved for the future, this proved to be a hardship for the family.

 

The experience set the course for the rest of Aaron’s life. His passion is to help his clients avoid financial failure and use financial planning to live out their vision of the good life. 

 

Going beyond conventional advice, Aaron will personally work with you to help defend against the shortfalls of common planning. Taking into account the unpredictability of real life, Aaron will craft a comprehensive plan that addresses all aspects of your finances. Aaron believes that there’s not a silver bullet to achieving financial success. It entails a series of powerful actions accomplished in the right order. Aaron’s role is to provide the wisdom and expertise to know what actions must be taken and then to facilitate their completion. Aaron works with business owners, families and professionals.

 

Born and raised in Kansas, Aaron set down roots in San Diego after a decade of service as an officer in the Marine Corps. He and his wife, Kathryn, have two children and are active members of the San Diego community.

 

In Aaron’s personal life, he enjoys adventure, reading, outdoor sports, and being engaged in his children’s education and activities.
